Here's the link the FDA site with their information on the recall:

Able Laboratories of Cranbury, NJ, is conducting a nationwide recall of all of its manufactured drugs (mostly generic prescription drugs, including drugs containing acetaminophen) because of serious concerns that they were not produced according to quality assurance standards. Able Laboratories has ceased all current production.
I can also tell you that quality assurance standards are guidelines that they have to use to ensure that the drugs are bioequivelent to their name brand counterparts and manufactured with purity and safety standards. So yes, there is a chance you have gotten drugs that are less potent and not as effective as they should be.
A batch of drugs that is manufactured under questionable conditions could actually end up with all the active ingredients in some of the pills, while others have none, or don't have the full dose.
