My doctor told me that I will have to come in once a month to get my heart checked. He only gave me a prescription for one month also...that way they can be sure that you will come in when you are supposed to.
If I were you I would schedule an appointment with your doctor the week before the prescription runs out and maybe he will give you another months worth if you feel you need it.
