The only thing I can think of to explain this would be that you might
need to optimize your diet.

If there is no calorie deficit in any given day, you'll have a hard time
losing the weight. Also, if you're eating any of the so called, "bad carbs"
this could be contributing because they tend to raise your insulin level,
which stops your body from burning off fat very well.
