I would switch your banana for an apple, an egg, and a 1/2 cup of oatmeal. Add more veggies into your diet. Despite the bad wrap that consuming carbs has gotten it's a very important fuel source as long as we eat the right carbs. If you were to get in 5-6 meals a day you'd keep in a constant state of thermogenesis which definately helps to burn the calories.
Keep in mind that a 1-2 pound weight loss (without the usage of any medications or drugs) is optimal with a sensible nutritional setup, some form of cardio, and moderate exercise. It seems that you've been hitting (and exceeding) the weight loss mark so I wouldn't fret to much. Remember, no one gets overweight over night, just like no one loses it over night, it's a long term goal that seems to come slowly (or not as fast as we'd like).
Also, the more overweight you are, the harder it can be to keep from storing fat from foods compared to someone who may not be so overweight.
