What I do is have 3 main, medium sized meals with three snacks in between.

For a snack I might have a peach and 2 slices of turkey lunchmeat.

Another snack example would be a small serving of nuts such as
peanuts or almonds. I don't really like those though, so I don't eat them much.

For breakfast I am usually busy so I'll have a balanced meal shake or
a Zone Perfect bar.

For lunch I'll have whatever is around; generally some sort of whole wheat
tortilla wrap with turkey, lettuce, cucumber, a bit of cheese, tomato, and
green pepper.

For dinner, I might have another bar if I'm too busy, or else I'll make
a dinner with veggies and lean meat like chicken. Stir-fry has been the
easiest to do so far since I just stir and it doesn't take long.

In conclusion, a piece of bread, even though it is small, cannot constitute
one of the meals of the day.

"Small" is referring to small portions. Make sure you balance it though.
I like 40% protein 50% carbs (good carbs like whole grain bread or
veggies), and 10% non-saturated fat.
