Hi Patti, the neck pain you are experiencing is more than likely from the phentermine. Because it does affect your nervous system, you are probably tense. If you are \  / :eek: tensing all your muscle in the neck area that will cause your neck pain. It is, actually a common side effect. It sounds as if you might have a very strong reaction to the phentermine. I would assume that is why the doc wants you to take only a half. The good news is , he will more than likely, eventually increase it, given time and it will take you longer to build a tolerance to phentermine than the average person.
