i think your way is a better way to go. eating only 1000 calories a day, everyday, i would think your body would just adjust to it and your weightloss would slow down. by varying the amount of calories you consume each day, 1200, 1300, 1000 etc... your body does not get a chance to adjust and your metabolism continues allows you to continue to lose weight. my ww leader suggested it for the core plan, and it seems to have worked really welll for other ww members. i might be able to go a day or two with 1000 calories, but i could not go much further than that, and then would probably end up binging and undue whatever progress i had made that week. good luck with your journey.
