I'm not sure. The doctor at the clinic said it reduces the size of fat cells. When I googled it and added "diet" I found a couple of forums where people who have had it before were looking for a clinic that gave them. Evidently some people have had what seems to be great success with them. I haven't had an injection so I can't say. I do get B-12 injections and I take a hormone replacement daily (synthroid). Who knows... I just thought I would pose the question to see if other clinics were offering it. Thanks for the input though!
