Joe, I am sorry ya'll have had such a hard time. Each of us responds differently but probably 99% are helped with phentermine, 37.5 mg tablets, taken on an empty tummy with 8 ounces of water very early in the morning...I took mine (2006) about 5 am. After taking it, she should wait an hour before eating for optimal use.

I know this is probably something you have heard, but added into taking medicine, she also should:

1. Pre-plan her meals and snacks the day before and to eat 6x a day, counting calories, measuring portions each time. Calories should total 1,000-1,200 per day.

2. Always include a protein source because it helps regulate blood sugar levels. Dairy, nuts, meats, legumes, etc.

3. Drink watter all day long, at least 8 full glasses a day. It is a LOT at first, so she must count these out and journal them along with every bite or sip she takes.

4. Some sort of exercise daily, even if only 3 minutes a day. The KEY is to be consistent.

Please let me know!

Bontril is used by many who don't respond to phentermine.
