I used to race a drag car!!!

It was a Competition Altered, I remember that much... and it ran on methanol!!! I was in my boyfriend's race team... and back then (I was 21) it was really cool for a girl to race... you got more sponsorship... so never one to pass an opportunity... I did! It was way cool!!! Sigh... back in the old days at Santa Pod in the Midlands of the UK!!! It was pretty freaky though and I had to wear a firesuit, it had three gears only and I often used to bash my helmet on the back of the freaking roll cage, it took off like a bat out of hell!!!

So another secret out eh?
