I agree with susan. You just don't want to chance it. when I learned that I could halve the tablets it made such a difference. In the beginning of weight loss, I found that taking 1/2 in the am and the other 1/2 around noon was a great combination. Later, I would take only 1/2 in the am. When I took the capsules I found that it was good to alternate taking them daily. One every other day. they have like a 36 hour halflife and have a cumulative effect on your body. If your pulse and bp are high, that's an indication that you're probably taking more than you need and it doesn't mean you'll lose the weight any faster. You'll just risk damaging your heart.
