That's a huge amount, no matter what you started out weighing!
A reasonable amount to expect to lose per week is 1% of your weight the week before. As your weight goes down, so will your amount(but not percent) of loss~
Example- 150 lbs. x .01= 1.5 and you can expect to lose 1.5 lbs the following week....
Then, 148.5 lbs. x .01= 1.48 and you can expect to lose 1.48 lbs. the following week, etc.
