Thanks, you are right....most generally, getting this medicine from the dr is usually a very simple procedure once you have your initial dr visit. When I go back for my "check up" visits, I don't have to have an appointment, I just see the nurse. The dr is still aware of what is going on with me because he goes over my file before they give me the rx for the phen. Wham bam and I'm out the door.

As far as the cost goes....even if you include the cost of the dr visit, it is still cheaper than some of the alternatives that I have seen. I tried the phen-d and a month supply of it was about $60 plus shipping...and it didn't work for me so I was out all that for nothing because if you only buy one month, you don't qualify for the satisfaction guarantee.

So, in my personal opinion, I feel that it is no more time consuming or expensive to go to the dr to get the actual phentermine. Plus, you are under a dr supervision which is very important to me.
