I know how you feel nikki, I am unemployed and having an extremely hard time trying to find work...I suffer from depression. I don't take anything for it either. I just try to keep moving. I am trying to turn a bad situation into something good(which some days *the hide in bed days* is extremely difficult) If you can try to remind yourself of one thing that inspires you it helps a little bit. For example...I get sad not getting any calls back for jobs. I had 1 interview in 7 months! and I didnt get the job :( but i try to think things happen for a reason. Im gonna take this time off and work on me. Eating right and working out, and I highly suggest the working out. It will improve your mental status BIG time. Even if its just walking slowly threw the park or down the street and back. It helps release endorphins which create that "happy" feeling. Also another thing my one of my drs has told me for treating depression on your own is to make use your getting enough Omega 3. I take fish oil (no fish burps kind or else sooo icky!) and vitamin B complex which you can get at GNC or target walmart or any nutrition store. You have to take then for awhile, its not like phen results arent immediate but ever little bit helps. I hope that helps you some hun. If you ever have more questions or anything you can ask.
