I just got an email from a guy who had read one of my articles,
and sent his opinion to me. I love it when that happens!

Anyway, he felt that we don't need fewer online pharmacies, but
should have a better physician/patient interaction. However, he also
mentioned that so far, his online doctors have spent much more time
reviewing his medical history than his "real-world" doctors ever did.

For example, his "real" doctors were usually 30 minutes to 1 hour
late for the appointment, and only spent say, 10 minutes with him.
The online doctors called him within about 10 minutes of the appointment,
and spent 20 minutes to 1+ hours with him, making sure the
medication was safe for a person in that specific situation.

This brings up an important question. How did your online doctor
experience compare to the usual doctor's appointment?

1) How much time did your online doctor spend with you?
2) Did the doctor call you?
3) If the doctor called, was it at the appointed time?
4) Did you feel safer than you would at the doctor's office?
5) Was the online doctor's questioning more thorough than your regular doctor's?

I am sorry but his doc sucks. Sorry about the my mouth on that one. If you feel you doc isn't listening to you. Then you need to find another one that does. Remember you are paying these guys and their are still some out their that care. My doc will sit in the same room with me for as long as I have question to ask. Also if I want to try something and he know nothing of it. He will ask be to bring him some research and he will look into it. He has referred me to other specialist before and they tried to treat me like that guy's doc did. I never went back to them and returned to my doc and said I wanted him to take care of it. He did!!! So look around.

As for the online doc's. I agree with the better interaction part. It would help create more of a comp. between doc's and pharms. That would be something to see....

I first went to Lindora a weight loss center and the PA there was going to prescribe phentermine to me!!! I said thanks but no thanks, if i'm going to go on a stimulate drug I want my Medical Doctor to be aware of both my progress and monitor my heart.

My Medical Doctor gave me nearly an hour of time (yeah AND she accepts my insurance!! AMAZING!) and talked to me about my diet and my habits and put me on phentermine. She wants me to come in monthy, and wants me to monitor my bp daily and bring my logs to her.

I feel much better now that I know my doctor is involved, I was seriously going to go and get it through Lindora if my MD said no. But with all the medical information she gave me and reassurance of knowing that she's a professional makes me feel much better...

I would definately suggest talking to your MD first before trying to buy online, b/c there are a lot of medical conditions that cannot take Phentermine
