Has anyone ever ordered from FederalMeds.com?

I think Ian will agree with me on this one, but it sounds like you've been scammed! Let me guess, the pills are round, flat (like traditional Excedrin tablets) with a split, but the specks look larger than the traditional tiny dots (the size of a sewing needle tip)? The pills came in a regular plastic baggie, perhaps encased in a paper/home-made envelope of some sort? It was shipped from India or some other foreign country? I ordered YEARS ago from www.rxgenericdrugs.com and it was the same thing. I took those pills into my local pharmacist and he could not find it in his book of registered medications approved by the FDA (rather in the past or presently). He told me NOT to take them, b/c of their unidentifiable nature--no markings on the pill and no pharmacy, doctor, or label on the bag. I would demand a refund ASAP, as most of this illegitimate online pharmacies offer. In my case, they tried to ask for me to return the pills then they'd give me a refund. Any LEGIT pharmacy CANNOT request you to ship the prescription back, nor can you LEGALLY mail prescription medications back--(look it up, the FDA does not allow for this to happen in order to prevent pharmacies from repackaging and reselling the same defective product. It also prevents consumers from tampering with a drug). I told them this same pharmacist informed me it was against the law to return prescription drugs and/or for them to request for me to. After a week or so of emails back and forth. I threatened to do a "charge back" with my credit card company and post their fraudulent activities on any phentermine forum out there. Magically, they agreed to the FULL refund, and it was credited back 14 days later. If you don't want the hassle, I would recommend going directly to your c/c company for the charge back, b/c they didn't deliver the med you ordered, they are not a legitimate pharmacy with doctors as they falsely claimed, AND they are requesting you engage in practices against FDA regulations. You won't have a problem getting the money back, b/c with little investigation your c/c company can verify the fraud.

I've ordered from federalmeds.com a couple times, which I now greatly regret. They're a lot easier to order from than the other sites I've ordered from before (including phentermine.com), because they require so little info, such as dr. approval. I still have the packaging from the last time I ordered (Feb. 27, 2006) where I paid extra for express shipping. The package does not require a signature. The pills comes in a yellowish/orange prescription bottle with a pretty thick orange cap, and a bunch of cotton stuffed inside. The label is white with all black writing, no barcode, it had my name, phentermine, the name of a dr. etc. but I don't have the bottle any longer. The pills look similar to authentic phentermine, and act a lot like them, but the pills they sent were unmarked, white, with blue specks. A few nights ago, I had the pills in my purse, along with a different medication prescribed by my physician. My local police approached my parked car after receiving a call that I'd made threats to harm myself. They made me get out of the car, and searched for anything I could use to harm myself, including any medications. They found my phentermine bottle with my name on it, from federalmeds.com, and arrested me for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. (it was not valid to them) I was completely strip searched and fingerprinted. I have an appt. today with my attorney. My court date is set for early June. I don't have a habit of drug use or breaking the law, so this is all very new and scary to me. If anybody has any information from their packaging or bottle from federalmeds.com I would be greatful for any information. The packaging I received has a return address of:

I called 411 and they only gave me a phone number for a Newport Beach resident, Jay Clark, that didn't answer. The red stamp from shipping said Santa Ana. The address 3419 Via Lido has many suites inside, so I don't know what suite this was referring to. DON'T ORDER FROM FEDERALMEDS.COM!

I ordered from federalmed too and got the exact same thing you described - oval - specks etc. I'm sure it is fake - no imprint, no doctor consult, no signature required - I'm going to try and get my money back but I doubt that will happen - AND with all the talk of shortage out there - these fakes came in two days......live and learn.
