Can anyone give me info on getting phen prescribed from your local Dr?Is it very exspensive. Do is it seem easy to get them to prescribe it?

I had no problem getting it from my Doc. I just told him that I had been trying to such a long time, told him everything that i had been doing, and I couldn't get anything to work. He's known me for a VERY long time, so he know's my whole story and history. I think it helps to know them for so long. I found my actual script to be alot cheaper than what anyone pay's by getting it online. But that also doesn't count the actual Doc visit, which w/ my insurance co-pay wasn't bad at all. I just don't trust buying any type of med on the internet. That's just me though. I've had to many medical problems allready, and take a wierd combo of other meds, so unless I get it from my Doctor's I dont' take it. Hope this helps.

i am getting it from my doc right now but he will only perscribe it for 3 months and they cost me 42 dollars for 30 pills and thats with no insurance well worth it at least i know i wont get ripped off

I too get it prescribed from my doc, he also said the three month term, however, if I am still 100lbs over weight after the 3mths.... then I just have to take a week break and he will prescribe again. He may lower the dosage since I am on the 37.5 now....but I have had them before w/out ins and it was $65 for the dr visit and $30 to fill 37.5mg 30pills. Now w/ins, 20% copay at dr and prescription is $11 for 30 day supply. Regardless if you have insurance or not and are set on taking the phen you need to pay the $$ for the dr visit and for the prescription, like forzion777 said, at least you are not getting ripped off. I am 5'2 and was at 217 or so and he didn't think twice about giving them to me after I asked, of course, you don't have to be that overweight to get them....but if you do your research and then go talk to your dr w/education and knowledge it may make him or her feel more comfortable prescribing them to you. I have been getting it from my doctor for about 2 years. The doctor's visit is more expensive then the meds...the pharmacy I got it from was about $23 for 30 pills 37.5mg - brand name purpac or something I think (my insurance does not pay anything towards "vanity drugs"). She cut me off last month because I have been on it so long....ordered from safescripts yesterday will see what happens!
