How dare a puritanical Senator be able to make all of us who are trying to lose weight or maintain our weight seem like criminals or common drug addicts. I was watching the Senate hearings on the illegal wiretapping this January when Senator Jeff Sessions a Republican from Alabama said to Att. Gen. Gonzales that he wanted to speak to him privately about the online pharcacies. He said that drug addicts and teenagers were getting illegal drugs without a Doctors approval or examination and they should be shut down. A few days later the FDA laws were changed. I hope that if any of you are from Alabama that you will do everything you can to see that Senator Sessions is not re-elected.

I'm from Alabama. It is a terrible thing but we have many, many , many kids in my high school that have bought phentermines, amphetamines and zanax and the like online and steal to pay for them.

Almost all the drug addicts get their drugs illegally. Laws are meant to protect and not harm. I learned that as a college student when getting a ticket for turning right on red (way before it was legal)when there were no cars around but mine. It was the middle of the night! I was still held accountable. In retrospect, I agree with that law.

Valid prescriptions get their medicines at about 1/5 the cost of the internet at their local pharmacy.
If they can gather the cash, soon they'll have their fixes.
The adults have got to help.

It makes me incredibly alarmed and worried when I hear of young people (yes I know I am only 24) who buy meds from their 'friends'. Makes me wonder how they would actually define 'true friendship'

nubbin-I'm with you 100%! Don't get me started because my head will explode! I have to get off now or I will regret what I say.

I just had a thought: even with 95% of the online vendors gone, there will always be legal and competitively priced online sales for any drug for which you have a valid prescription.
I know I have ignited a fire and I didn't mean to do that, but I think there's somethimg I am missing or not understanding. Please explain it further so I can understand. Thanks~
