Fair enough. But what about people like me who went to a "diet doctor" who dispensed the phentermine himself without ever actually providing a prescription? I know what to do to lose the weight, and the phentermine is critical to my being able to accomplish that. But I can't continue to pay $106 every 2 weeks to go to this guy to get my 14 pills. I have been legally and legitimately taking the stuff, but can't go anywhere else with a scrip to get it. Am I making sense? What are my options?

I would check around and see if there are other weight loss clinics in your area. That does seem quite high, $106 every 2 weeks because the meds are not expensive getting them at your pharmacy. Also, Ian has a weight loss directory that may help you find somewheres else in your area. Good luck Molly!

My docs visit is $135.00 for 1st visit b/c you have all the tests and everything and the prescrip. is $18.00 at pharmacy. It was great! Then every visit after that is $60.00 and then the prescip which is the same amount every time.

I know it might be hard after we all get off Phen but honestly Im afraid to be on this stuff for a long time. I love the way it makes me feel sometimes but I think I could do it on my own when the time comes. Cravings are gonna come and go. Once we are weaned off of Phen and learn to do this on our own we should be fine. I am already trying to teach myself this healthy habit.

I understand that you guys may be frustrated with people asking you how to buy phentermine, but I relate to them. Maybe I'm niave, but I don't think they are wanting it for recreational use. Many doctors don't like prescribing it. I happen to be a solid 60-70 pounds overweight and my doctor did not want to prescribe it either. So I do understand their frustrations. Sometimes people are just asking for genuine help. Perhaps a good response would be to have an unoffical list of doctors or some members who would recommend good doctors regionally. Most people cannot afford the luxury of the time and money it may take to locate a doctor that understands that phentermine can be a good option for some people.

Not trying to disagree or call anybody out. I just like to think the best in people. And I think they just want help and support.
