As I figured, my grandmother couldn't/didn't get it... so, because she said that it was really busy down there yesterday (I had been concerned about the drug cartel dangers) I snuck down to Mexico today and I went into town a bit more and the first pharmacy I went to had it without a prescription. You are correct that you're not supposed to travel with it, but they'll give you a little plastic bag and help you take the pills out of their blister packs and then (if you're cheeky like me), you hide it somewhere. YIPPEE!
I'm still going to see if I can get a real prescription, though I don't know if I'll get one because my BMI is apparently around 21-22 and I've heard that you usually need to have a BMI of 30 or above. Going to walgreens would sure be a lot easier than driving over 4 hours round trip!
