This guy, a pharmacist working in Salem, has apparently been giving
patients the incorrect medications. For example, one person with arthritis
was being given vitamins instead of anti-inflammatory/anti-agitation
medicine!

Apparently the pharmacist was also on probation and has been since 1999
when he got into trouble doing the same thing! Weird guy.

This is appalling. Pharmacists have always ranked high on the list of professionals that people trust the most, and I trust my pharmacist as well. The criminal and extremely unethical actions of this one man gives a black eye to the rest of the decent RPh's who work their butts off and go above and beyond to cater to their patients' needs (and some of those needs are probably pretty quirky, don't you think?)

Reminds me of the pharmacist a few years back who was convicted (I forget what the actual charges were) for diluting cancer chemotherapy drugs by sometimes more than 50%!! Hey, pharmacists are human and errors are sometimes made, unfortunately, but he did this intentionally and repeatedly for pure GREED. Gads, it makes me sick.

Wow, that offense you mentioned of the other pharmacist diluting
the cemo drugs is very serious. What a jerk. It is sad, as you say,
for all those people who are young and working to become doctors
and pharmacists to help people..(although I'm sure some are doing
it just to look good).

Anyway, I'm going to go to bed now. I'm very tired, and I should
get off of the computer and quit watching this current forex trade
I'm in for the long run. I should minimize stress.

It is just incredible what some people will stoop to doing.

I have even had pain meds stolen, right out of my very house, while we weren't home. We were pretty sure we know who did it but had no absolute proof so we couldn't do anything. It also didn't help that it was a narcotic so I didn't take it all the time, only when I desperately needed it, so I didn't notice they were gone until a few days later.

What happened was we had this neighbor who was always wanting my pain meds, I started putting them away so that she would always think I was low and stop driving me crazy. (I mean I am not going to jail for this person, sorry!) I was putting them in a different bottle in my nightstand, well I guess one day she saw my DH getting a couple out for me. Next thing I know, I go in a few days later to get some and out of about 20 pills, there were only 6 left.

Nothing else was touched in the house so it was kind of obvious if you know what I mean.
