Hello! I just joined your site, and it is pretty informative!

I just received an order of Phentermine that I bought online, and it looked different that the pill I have had in the past. These pills are yellow, and after a bit of research I found that they are made by Able Lab., and after more research I have found that these are recalled! :???:

I called the place I ordered the pills from and they acted like they had no idea the pills were recalled and said someone would call me back within a couple of days.... so annoying!

Anyway, I am assuming that I should not take these pills?

The pills I have had in the past were in a blue/white capsule, were these the non-generic?

Hey BeckieAnn. Welcome to the forums. It makes me very happy to hear
that you like the site and found good information.

Well, actually anything that you buy that is just called Phentermine, rather
than Adipex, Ionamin, Fastin, etc.; is generic.

The confusing part is that there are different manufacturers of Phentermine.
I guess it shouldn't even be capitalized because it's not a brand-name, but
a chemical compound.

Yeah, you probably shouldn't use the pills. I'm sorry that pharmacy hasn't
been more helpful to you, and I hope they call you back about it and refund
your money. Would you mind mentioning the name of the online pharmacy
you ordered these from? This would help others avoid buying the recalled
phentermine produced by Able Labs.

Just to make it clear, the blue/white caps you got before were also generic.

why were they recalled? So is it any pill that says A257 on it, cause that is what mine says.....Do you think they are harmful? Have you heard anything like that?

Yes, A257 are made by Able labs and have been recalled. They are not harmful but due to questionable manufacturing practices, they do not meet the FDA standards and therefore may not have enough of the active ingredient, or one might have a lot and etc.
