I had a duck named Sharon when I was young-unfortunately she got out during a flood a never came back home. We also had dogs growing up-my favorites- a peekapoo named Mitzi and a collie named Lassie, of course! During my teen years we had a small black poodle who was one of the smartest dogs ever! Sadly she got ran over :( I cant imagine growing up without pets. The only thing I wish is that my Mom would have liked cats--we never had cats growing up--but I love them now.

Hey Cyn, I'm sorry about what happened to your duck and poodle. :(

I had three ducks! One of them was named Alex and he was a fat white
farm-duck. Incredible! :-D My parents probably have a few pictures of
me sitting on a bench, petting the duck while he stood next to me.

AFLAC, definitely.

When I was very little, I ate cat food with my cat, Iris. She wasn't the
best cat though. I loved Pudge, the one that would sleep on my bed
every day, and she would roll over and stretch if I rubbed her stomach.
She also would run across the house and comfort us if we got hurt.

I even had three dogs; one who jumped against walls over and over,
one who was a crazy murderer who didn't mean to, so she took Elavil;
and one who didn't know how to play with others. She would walk up
to the other dogs, bark in their faces to start playing, and then she
would just turn around and push them over with her butt. Then they
were naturally dissatisfied, and would walk away.

3 ducks! How great! I love reading about your pets. Isnt it amazing the different personalities you see in your pets? The cat I have now has such a mean disposition! My dog on the other hand is so playful and loving.

Well, I had a pet goat named Billy, he was awesome and loved to snuggle and play.

I had a pet rabbit named Quizmo.

The best cat I remember was Scrapper, my dad stepped on him when he was a kitten and he survived but was crippled, he always walked like he was drunk. On top of being crippled, someone cut his testicles off and just left them hanging by a shred of skin, he survived that, then someone maced him and he went blind. We had that cat for 10 years until he finally died of cancer.

We had a little toy shepherd named Gumpy and he was great, very smart, loved to eat dill pickles and wouldn't let anyone in our car or house if we weren't home. Everyone outside of the family was scared to death of him, he even bit my brother. LOL! He lived for over 18 years before he finally died of a stroke.

I also had a cat named Monkey, he was all grey like my cat Zeus is now and loved to chew gum.

I have always had dogs. My favorite was Chuckie. My mom said he was named after that doll in the horror movies. LOL! I had him as a teenager and he was always there to listen when I need someone to talk too.

He was a white cocker spaniel. He had an attitude problem. He used to nip at people if they got to close to his food or treats. When men came over to our house we had to tell them to cover their private area when entering the house, because the first thing he did was jump up and hit them square in the balls. LOL!

He used to sleep with me. He hogged the bed and if I tried to move him in his sleep he would growl. LOL! He acted tough but he was really my sweetheart.

He got sick when I was in my 20's. I held him while they put him to sleep. I did not want his last memory to be of anyone but me. It makes me cry to think about him, because I still miss him!
