I was thinking this morning about how my life is going, and the directions
I've taken. I just wanted to say that I'm glad that I'm in this community
with all of you rather than with some dumb (mostly) immature college
kids whose hobbies are drinking and partying, etc.

Thanks for joining and making part of my dream a reality.

I wish I would have had your sense of direction back when I ws your age--I spent too many years just wasted on partying and such and letting life pass by. It took awhile for me to grow up and realize there was more to it than beer and hanging out. It is really refreshing and honestly quite a shock to see someone your ages with his head screwed on straight. You should be proud of yourself--you have alot going for you.

Thank you Cyn. You may have partied etc, but I imagine that you
didn't talk about things like how to score on spring break all the time.
Most of the guys in my high school class with like that.

LOL! I have to laugh and be amused here, because my DH is currently a college student. He is 32, and you should hear the tales he comes home with from some of those college kids.

You should also see their faces or hear their reactions when they asked him to join them and find out he is in his 30's, married, and has a 10 year old son.

The best one I remember is the girl who was coming on to him and asked him to go to her dorm room with her to "study." He told her he didn't think his wife would like that very much and she said "What she don't know won't hurt her!" OMG! She was only 19, I could never imagine saying that to someone now, and I am 34, let alone when I was only a teen!!

Ian, it is so refreshing to see someone with their head on straight at such a young age. I am proud of you and glad we are getting to know each other.

I'm glad to hear that, Ver. I'm happy with every new development,
although I've been busy this weekend taking care of my girlfriend. She was
on a school trip in Europe, and she may have been bitten by something.
She's got a 3-inch swollen, very painful area near her belly button, with an
obvious starting place with a blister forming. It's been a few days, but
thankfully she's going to the doctor tomorrow.

Do you like the new graphics? Please tell me anything you DON'T like about
them too! Remember you can always be honest with me about anything,
including my websites. After all, I consider it constructive criticism.

Anyway, I strayed from the topic there; so thanks for the support.

By the way, that's apalling... "What she don't know won't hurt her."

UGH

Have a good night!

Hey Ian, being that I am an avid learned and married in to a family with an extensive medical background, I have to asked, have you guys tried Benadryl yet? Most times when you go to the doc or hospital for something like that, that is the first thing they have you try, it works fast and is the easiest way to tell what it causing the problem.

I like the site, looks great to me so far!

Lol, we haven't tried Benadryl yet. :\ Unfortunately, I found out after she
started feeling nauseous that her parents gave her some of the leftover
hydro and penecillin from her dad's tooth removal day. That pissed me off!

Next time I'm getting Benadryl for her and if everything keeps getting worse,
I'm taking her to the hospital.

That would piss me off as well, you should never treat someone with that kind of stuff unless you already know what you are dealing with. The good thing is, Benadryl won't react with any of that stuff so you can still try it, it really sounds as if she got a bite and is having a reaction to it.

I am allergic to spiders and what you described is about the same thing I get if I am bitten.
