Do they seem happier with themself?

Did they give you any advice about losing?

Have they tried to push the people around them to get in better shape?

Have they lost any friends since losing the weight? I have heard that some people say their old eating bodies cannot be their for them when they change their life. :???:

My boyfriend used to weigh 214 in 8th grade, and now he weighs 165. He works out almost everyday. I didnt know him when he weighed 214, but he told me about his weight problems, and I know he's much happier with himself now. He gave me health advice, and helped me keep track of exercising and eating right. Now, he helps a lot more people by motivating them to eat right and exercise.
I dont think he lost any friends because of his weight lost.. he probably made more friends because of it if anything.

Thanks for the response, smallplant. How did he lose the weight?

Sounds like he is doing great!

He stopped eating snack foods and bad carbs and started running around in the woods with his friend.

I lost 90lbs during one of my unhealthy starvation diets and I dont know if I changed or people around me did--but there was definately tension between me and a few of my friends and family. Of course it did last long--my weight came right back :( with extra pounds too! I think weightloss does change a person though--and I dont mean that to sound like it is bad cause not all change is bad.

I used to try the starvation diet, but it always only lasted for a day or two. I think once it was a week because I felt like I was getting nowhere, but thank god I didnt to it for more than that.

Yeah that can end up hurting you pretty badly. It sounds like you've been
doing better lately in terms of how often you eat.
