I have heard that Phentermine can start to wear off after you have been using it for a while. It will be a month for me tomorrow. Yesterday and today I have been so hungry. This is the first since I started using Phentermine. I'm wondering if it could be because I started my period yesterday. You know how you want to eat everything in sight during that time of the month, I still feel like I want to eat everything. So, I don't know if it could be wearing off or if it could be because it's that time for me.

Anyone come across this yet??

Yeah Brookey know the feeling! It doesnt completely stop your appetite all the time.It gives you a lot of energy,so go for the exercise while on it!That way you will be fit when yoy stop taking it!
I get really hungry when I have had a hard day, kids driving me nuts, housework gallore!
I feel like I have to Reward myself when I feel tired and stressed to make me feel better.I have to break that cycle, head it off when I feel it coming on!
I am so pathetic, when I think of other women in much tougher positions than myself.Thats my winge, when your monthlies come round, yeah you do feel like eating more!

Yeah I just posted after you and I just experienced this. It was after a month of taking it with no appetite then the hunger started to return even while taking it. I like the energy that it gives me so I took 5 days off

It was a hard 5 days and I felt guilty for eating the cheeseburger but it tasted so good. But since I had been eating low calories before (hence the no appetite from phen) My so called pig out was nothing like it would have been because my stomach could hold but so much. so I gain one pound during my binge.

Took my first phen in 5 days today and I am back on the phen "high" now.

But to answer your question stop taking it for a few days and you'll get that feeling back.

Selena

I also felt it wear off particularly when I was supposed to get my period. i say supposed because it made it late. I stopped taking them and finally got my period. The week off was good for me. I thought after all the candy I ate I would have gained but i actually lost a pound. YAY! Chocolate does cure everything! It is definitely working better so I think next month I will take this particular week off again.

So, when you take a week off and when you start back again, so you start over with all of the side effects?
I'm past that initial week of feeling loopy and blurry vision, I really don't want that to start again.
For those of you wondering... that time of the month is over now, and I do feel like I am back to not being hungry again. So, I am thinking that it was my hormones that took over my brain last week.

I read in a magazine that right before that time of month women gain 5-10 pounds.

5-10 pounds seems like a lot. I know I fell like it's 20, but I don't actually gain that much. Has anyone ever taken a water pill to help with sore breasts and cramping?

I wonder how many guys are reading this and getting yucked out??
