Hi, I just started taking phentermine for the first time five days aga and eight pounds but put two pounds back on. I haven't been as hungry and feel really good. I noticed yesterday I was hungrier than the four days previous has this happened to anybody else? I am hoping I wouldn't get a tolerance already. I am on the 37.5 mg. time release pill. Also I exercise on my eleptical 5 days a week and not sure if I hurt my leg, but my left thigh is so sore and achy, wondering if this is side affect of phentermine or maybe not drinking enough water. We are going to Maui in Feb. so I am really wanting to loose thirty lbs by then. Is this attainable? Thanks.

I think that 30 pounds is definately with in reach. Especially if your excersizing.
I didn't have leg pain, but I would try to drink more water.
As for the toelrance, I just took a week of now after being on it for a month because I was always hungry. Hopefully it works the same when I start again on Saturday. I have been really bad this week, and it's only Wednesday. Hopefully I won't gain a bunch back!!
Good Luck!

I second that....30 lbs by February is a very attainable goal with exercise and proper nutrition.
That is about 10 lbs a month, very realistic!
You will look and feel so great by then.
Good luck!
About the leg pain, I have an elliptical and have not had this problem while using phentermine.
I doubt it would be a side effect, definitely haven't heard or read this anywhere, but lactic acid build up in the muscle from the exercise could cause some pain. In any case, increasing your water and maybe even adding some potassium (a banana) to your day could help as well as trying a protein shake, muscles need repair and rest time, protein helps a lot.
Keep up the great start!

I had leg pain in my calves. Drink more water, stretch, and try working out every other day. Give your body some time to rest.
