Susan - what a wealth of information you are sweetie! I totally agree with everything you have to say. I have to admit though that up until now I have not counted calories but I'm going to start right now because I do think that I probably either over or underestimate and would like to be more on target in the future. I also totally agree NOT to stress about losing only a pound or even half pound a week as everyone is going to have high loss weight weeks and lower weight loss weeks and even some no weight or OMIGOD weight gains... It comes off if you are consistent and not giving in to the "I will never fit into those pants so what's the use" syndrome. Thanks for all those great tips Susan and everybody out there - hang in and GOD Bless !

I am sorry to be so long in answering your question!I must have been doing something you won't really know the meaning of again until your chilren are 25, at least....it's called sleeping..
I took 37.5 phentermine back in early 2006. I stayed on it solidly for 3 full months, then weaned off it the last 4 weeks. There was no problem doing that at all. I STILL have some extra willpower but I also exercised it every single day I was on it.

I tried 7 days worh of Phentramin and it helped my appetite the 4th day so perhaps it can take several days to build up...I also tried 7 days of Hoodia and felt as if I'd had nothing but a smaller pocketbook. I met my goal in 2006 so just tried them for a clear conscience when I reviewed them.

I have never taken phentramine. I think MaryEllen likes that but I don't know a thing about it. What are you leaning toward?

thanks for giving a run down on what you have all taken it is so helpful to have a moderator let the community know what worked and what didnt for them. you are an awsome woman... and great inspiration that not everything works but somethings do!
