First off this is a vent! Someone on here has been sending messages about how unGodly she is to a great person on this board named Cassandra, and I don't like it. First off, I am a religious person but if someone isn't you don't kick them for it. What if it was reversed and someone was sending you mean messages for being a christian, you wouldn't appreciate it would you? We are here to help each other in our journeys to lose weight. We all need the support from others. I think if you click onto a thread or journal and you don't agree with it, then just click off it and go on about your business. I personally think Cassandra was a great asset to this board and it is just not the same without her. Give her a break and lets get back to what we are here for, supporting each other while we are losing weight.

I agree with you. Why doesn't Cassandra just let the person's name be known so that we all know who we need to stay away from.... I don't see where Cassandra has ever been ungodly..... maybe I haven't read deep enough into her messages but I haven't seen it. I did see that she posted a vent saying the forum has gotten way too religious..... I don't agree with that at all. I haven't seen much religion talk other thank asking for prayers..and if I can't ask friends for prayers...I'll gladly leave the forum and not return......

I agree w/ Kimber. This forum isn't about religion, but we are all friends here (or, most of us are), & I know that I can ask my friends for prayer, & they will gladly pray for me!
When my brother was so suddenly & tragically killed last July, my wonderful friends on here gave me TONS & TONS of support/encouragement/prayers, etc... It was absolutely WONDERFUL to come here & see the encouraging posts saying they were praying for me. Prayer is what got me & my family through that VERY VERY hard time!!! If you've never been through a tragedy like that, then you have absolutely NO idea how horrible something like that is!!!
However, this forum is mostly about weight loss, & if you ask me, that's what I've mostly seen discussed here - weight loss...not religion.
Guess I'm missing all this religious talk somewhere...?

Hey Kimber, don't get mad at me. I think that is a great idea, to know who is sending some dumb messages to people. A while back, there was a thread about sex and I posted a reply on it and it got some people kind of upset. I did apologize because I felt that was what I needed to do but I too think that if something offends you, just click off it and go on. I am a big believer in prayer, because without it I personally think my daughter Brittany wouldn't be here, but whether religious or not is not the point. I am just meaning lets don't criticize each other about their personal choices. I think you are great Kimber and have brought alot of insight to this board and I haven't seen you ragging anyone but there are some people that are fault finders and always looking to find something in someone to complain about.

I have come to love this board because of the support & encouragement and the great advice...BUT I do realize that this board IS on the internet..which means you will come across every type of person out there. I agree that this is a weight loss board, but I also think that over time, friendships will begin and the talk will branch off into other topics..hence the CHIT CHAT (off topic) part of the board...I am like this in every bit of my life..if you don't like someone..then DON'T talk to them..if you don't like looking at something...then QUIT looking at it...HATE that Tv show..then turn the channel...it is quite simple...if you don't like the topic, then click the back button or don't respond...IF you really need the urge to say something about it...then PM the person..that way, it stays between you and that person...that person has the right to reply back or not. There will always be topics that are "not quite easy" for everyone to agree/disagree on BUT that is what makes this board so great...opinions rule!

Oh girl I'm not mad at you at all... I'm not mad at anyone on this forum. I think Cassandra would be doing a service to every member of the forum to let this person's name be known.... why keep a secret of someone who is being hateful? I think it's great that we can ask for prayers and if someone doesn't pray...they don't even need to respond to the thread.. ya know they say, "if you don't have anything nice to say then dont say anything at all".. I guess we should for sure apply that to the forum
