OT....TMI/Long

I was on phen then went on vacation so didn't take any pills. I haven't been back on the pills yet and the reason was b/c I didn't start my monthly cycle. I called the weight loss clinic they said it should affect my birth control pills. I was two weeks late so I took a blood test b/c the home pregnancy test said negative. I still haven't started....ughhh! I stopped taking my birth control pills and still no period! Any advice would be great! The doctor said I should've started today. Well to make a long story short, I'm not going to go back on birth control b/c I need to just have a baby and stop waiting. I would still like to loose at least 20 pounds, but should I take my phedermetrazine for the next month or so, or will it harm my body if I do get pregnant. I would stop taking the phen-d if I was thinking I was pregnant. Does any of this make sense. LOL

Ok, I am confused. Did you mean to say that the weight loss clinic said it SHOULDN'T affect your birth control pills??? Or did you really mean to say what you did? (that is should affect your birth control pills)

I got pregnant while taking phen and the doctor said not to worry just dont take it any longer since I was pregnant. My daughter turned out just fine. I probably took it for about 3 weeks of my pregnancy. As for no period...have you been stressed or exercising a lot? Any kind of change with me does a number on my cycle.

maybe your cycle is just a little off because of your weight loss. i think it's ok to keep taking your medicine as long as you stop as soon as you think you're pregnant or find out that you are for sure pregnant.

Thanks ladies I started tom today and I have decided not to take birth control. I have also decided to take phen for one month along with prenatals, hoping to drop some weight before I do get pregnant.
Sweetjay the doctor at the weight loss clinic said that the pills should not have anything to do with why my period was late. When I went on vacation I doubled up a couple times and my family doctor said that can throw me off.

Yeah, my doctor said the Phen wasn't the cause of my new found TOM issues. Well... it's either the Phen or the weight loss, as I'm a 'to the day' kind of girl! Now, I was nearly 2 weeks late, had a 13 day period and have no clue when the next one is coming!

Oops! Sorry, I left that little detail out... no, I'm not. Thank goodness! As that would just further complicate the matter... I feel your pain girl.
