Hello on 10/13 I went to my weight loss clinic and received another b12 injection and also a lipo injections. From what they said the lipo was supposed to help me burn more fat. My question is has anyone had this injection and seen results? I worked out but I didn't see fat disappear (I was just looking at my baby bump). I have noticed that since I have been working out my butt has gotten tighter. In other words I am seeing results in my lower half but not my upper half... Any ideas?

Are the Lipo injections the kind where you have to have them done several times and over time they are suppose to dissolve the fat under your skin?

I don't know, they prefer you to get them once a week.. But they say they only work when you work out. I have only gotten it once, but I didn't feel or see any difference. I think that they call them Lipase inhibitors.

I was just wondering because it sounded like something I saw on TV. It was pretty cool because after a few months this womans stomach was flat as a board and firm. She was already in pretty good shape but she had a baby pooch she couldn't get rid of and instead of liposuction she went this route. It was cheaper too. Anyway, good luck with it!

Thank you, I am going to call them and see what they call it. Now I am curious because if that is it I am going to tell them to inject it in my stomach and not my thigh. LOL

Hey Lucy, I would need one of those shots all over me, LOL. No, seriously, I too suffer from a baby pooch. I think if you keep taking the shots, that you will see more and more results from them. Good luck.

That is one I haven't heard of. I know lipase inhibitors are given orally for type 2 diabetes; are you diabetic? Xenical is one medicine used for that. It keeps you from absorbing a certain amount of fat. Here's the only info I could find on it:

Breaking the Obesity Barrier: Near-Term Prospects for Breakthrough Treatments

Wouldn't I give away my CAR if we can find out whether this works. See if you can find the name of the drug. Is it manufactured by Roche?
It would sure push liposuction out the back door!
