I started on Phen 37.5 on 1/2/08. I have not lost any weight nor have I been exercising or dieting. But I plan to change all that starting with my new month of pills. Lately I have been having problems with breathing. It feels like my chest and throat are burning and nothing cools it. Alot of mucus (at least that is what it feels like) is in my throat as well. I have had a couple of headaches too.

I just wanted to know if anybody has experienced this? Should I continue? My doctors appointment is not until 2/11/08. Also, I need some motiviation.

I can't believe I took these pills for a month and nothing happened! Any advice would be great!

I have not been here in a while... I was wondering if anyone was able to continue losing weight when you got off the pill.

Sorry, I can't help you, with most of your questions. I still wanted, to come by and welcome you, though.

I will tell you, what I know, things, I have read around,on the forum.

Some ppl have a natural tolerance, to this stuff. Then again, you weren't really exercising or dieting either.

I have read though, other ppl, who lost weight, without really trying, no dieting or exercise. The only problem, with that is, they gained, all the weight back.

It still seems odd, you haven't lost anything, though.
Definitely start dieting and walking even for 10 min. a day, better than nothing.

See if your 2nd month, has a loss,if not, you may want to change to a different kind. Talk to your dr. about other brands or dosages.

ttyl c.c.

I didn't experience that except a few headaches from not eating. When you say that you have not been dieting, what do you mean? Do you mean you have been eating fast food, or over eating? Or are you not eating at all? What about your water intake? Are you sure you are not coming down with a cold. I never heard of these symptons? My throat is dry a lot. And when I got a cold I couldn't shake it for 2 weeks. Don't give up! You can do this....

I am sorry you don't feel they helped you at all. Firstly, do not take any more until you see your doctor. They aren't helping, and could be started again after he/she okays it.

One thing is for sure: even taking a thermogenic type drug that speeds up your metabolism doesn't just 'work'. Nothing makes you lose. Have you ever had the experience of being DEAD TIRED but when a stimulus like a policeman or hospital call happens, all your sytems point to ALERT! ALERT! Your diet signals have to receive that ALERT! ALERT! from you first. At best, pills are a great tool. YOU are the one to put them into action.

You can choose to do anything if you are deeply motivated. The same thing happens with a diet pill. You MUST be determined and motivated and educated about how your body works. Here are some starting ideas that I I hope may help:

Start counting your calories and split them up into 6 mini-meals a day, 225 calories at a time. Eat some form of protein EACH time you eat.
Keep a food diary andrecord your daily intake for at least one week.
Watch what you consume. Measure EVERYTHING and count calories.
Water is almost always your best drink; drink at least 8, 8 ounce cups per day.
Make sure that your meals contain a healthy mix of nutrients. Fats and protein are much slower to digest than carbs. Carbs digest in about two hours, protein takes four hours to
digest and fat takes up to six hours, which explains why people on low-carb diets experience less hunger than those on low-fat diets.
People on balanced-nutrient plans also have better hunger control. Work to develop healthy habits.

1. Eat more vegetables and fruits.
2. Drink water and tea, as long as it’s from real tea vs. herbal.
3. Do some form of exercise daily, even if it is only 2 minutes!!Build muscle, burn calories.
4. Start meals with a salad made with fresh vegetables and Romaine greens.
5. Eat more protein to help satiate you.
6. Eat ONLY complex carbs.
7. Eat more veggies. They fill you up.
8. Include low-fat water-based soups as snacks.
9. Don’t forget the fiber.
10. Self monitor. Keep a journal. There’s no other way.
11. Portion control. Avoid the buffet line and never super size.
12. Sleep well and eat breakfast.
13. NEVER eat less than 1,000 calories a day.

YOU CAN DO THIS!!
