I'm on day two of my perscription Phentermine, and I have jitters. Is that normal and will it go away once the meds are in my system.

My two cents,if I'm wrong, I'm sure, someone will come along and correct me.
Make sure you are eating, even, if your not hungry, make yourself eat, every 2 to 3 hours. 200-225 a meal, eat protein with each mini meal, helps you feel satisfied longer. Aim for about 1200 calories a day. If you go below 1100 calories, your body goes into starvation mode and your weightloss slows down. You have to eat to lose weight, believe it or not.
Try some protein shakes, if you have trouble getting in enough protein. I learned about the protein shakes from Ian and 9 reason's and have started supplementing my snacks.
Your blood sugar levels may be to low. Eating more frequently, helps to maintain consistent blood sugar levels.
It also raises your metabolism and helps you curb, your hunger, so your less, likely to make, poor food choices.
Cut out caffeine, soda, diet soda, coffee, chocalate, anything that has caffeine in it. It will only make you feel more jittery and worse, plus it's never a good idea to mix two stimulants, anyways.
Make sure your getting enough water. 2 liters minimum, build yourself up to 1 gallon, almost 4 liters. It is good for you and a very important part, of losing weight.
O.k off my soapbox now !! Best of luck to you

Great advice for Lady S, CC!! Count on me to correct everyone -even when they are NOT wrong!
Lady, you might try halving your dose for a week, giving your system a chance to get used to it and lessen the side effects~
