That's what happened to me. I gained weight because I wasn't eating enough, I was only eating 2 meals a day and less than 1000 calories, it was probably around 700. Because of that, my body started storing everything I put into it and I didn't lose weight until I actually ate more food.
Katie, Iam impressed with your answer. Good job !!

Im glad that you are sticking with 1200 Calories. I just don't think it is healthy for anyone to be under 1200 calories a day ( But I am also not an expert.) I know that sometimes we want to lose weight fast but we have to remember that we didn't put it on over night. So the best way to lose weight is slowly. Also if you lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time remember it might not all be fat. It could also be muscle and water weight. Hope this helps!

Your body needs nutrient-packed foods of, at the least, 1000 calories a day. It's just not possible to get the necessary vitamins, minerals, fibers needed in less than that. If you are eating 1200, but that includes 1000 calories of buttered popcorn, you are in the same fix.

That's the IDEAL. 1,000 calories is the minimum fed to bedbound, 100 pound people, just to maintain body functions. And many, many lose on that. I have read that 1200 is the minimum.

In some situations, if you don't eat the right types of foods, your body will take what it needs from your stores of whatever vitamin. For example, your body will rob the bones to get the calcium it needs to feed an unborn baby...

EAT HEALTHY!

I do most days eat healthy. But I will have to admit the past few days with all this studying, I have not even thought about food. I have to prepare to eat healthy. I have been up 4 three days straight. well I have had about 5 hrs of sleep in 3 days. But I am back on track now.
