I think you would need to get tested to know for sure what the minimum amount of calories is but I believe the general rule for everybody is 1200 is the minimum that your body needs to run. If you go less than 1200 calories, then your body could go into storage mode and start storing every calorie, fat gram, carb, etc just trying to make ends meet so to speak. That's what happened to me. I gained weight because I wasn't eating enough, I was only eating 2 meals a day and less than 1000 calories, it was probably around 700. Because of that, my body started storing everything I put into it and I didn't lose weight until I actually ate more food.
