I know how awesome it is to take a small pill and sit back and lose weight. I lost 35 lbs back when I was on Phentermine. I felt amazing and never looked better. Once I stopped it I gained it back except 8 lbs. I am not going to sit here and say it was because the pill stopped working. No all it was is that I didn't get my ducks in a row while on the Phen!

So I am just trying to encourage everyone to do EVERYTHING you can to lose weight and just let the Phen be your helper not the worker.

I had a chance to part of a research study but didnt make it! I seriously gave up and went straight back to eating everything in sight without thinking about what i was doing.

So now I am back at 290 and struggling to get back down.
Now I have to learn what I am suppose to do as far as eating, exercising and most importantly changing my thought process. So I need everyones support (Which is why I came back here) and I am also looking for specific someone to keep me accountable.

I am also hoping to be making a thread With good helpful information for everyone but most importantly it is for me to look at and remind me why I am doing this!

Message me if you wanna be my buddy!

I will TTEL

~Chris~

Great words of advice Chris! I think all too often people use medications to get them the results they want without lifestyle changes. If you don't change now, nothing will change in the long term. I used to hate hearing people say, 'It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change.' Blah, blah, blah (were my thoughts). Now, I FINALLY realize what they were saying and have been able to see results for the first time in my life AND feel like I can lead this lifestyle forever. I hate it when people are right!

Good luck with your weight loss! It's not an easy process, as I'm sure you know, but we can SO do this!!

I totally agree...this pill is just something to help us curb our appetites while trying to loose weight. We shouldn't look at it as some miracle pill. I am trying to keep my portions in check and trying to stay away from bad foods and it is hard. Even now while I am taking the pill I still find myself eating when I am not hungry and taking in too many calories. But I am trying to use the pill to change my bad habits and begin eating better and working out more consistently. It is a lifestyle change....I tell myself that everyday. This weight thing is hard. It seems like a constant struggle for me. But it can be done.

Good luck to everyone!!!!

Well said!!!!!!

It frustrates me when I see folks use Phen as a miracle drug! If you don't eat for the time you're taking it... you will gain the weight back when you go off. It has zero to do with the meds and everything to do with not relearning how to eat properly and not exercising!

Kudos to you all for doing it the right way!!

I learned that lesson, too, over and over until I stopped by this forum one day.

Those are EXCELLENT words of advice, Chris~ use it as a tool that can boost your efforts. It is STILL hard work!
