Ok so please don't get grossed out but, I need to ask because its bothing me....
I have been taking adipex for about a month now and I have dry mouth really bad {WHICH i DRINK A TON OF WATER}: and also it feels like I have a ball of mucas in the back of my throat is this normal?

I know nothing about adipex, but with phen. I do get a dry mouth, which I think is good cuz then I can drink that gallon of water. But as far as the mucas part that happens sometimes when I'm working out and I don't drink for awhile. Unless is happens even when your drinking your water, I'm not sure it's anything to worry about. Just keep drinking !! Have a wonderful day!

TRC, the dry mouth feeling doesn't always get much better even after drinking water. There is a stimulus of that need and it doesn't get much better without constant sugarless-gum chewing. Even then, it's only while you are chewing it!
Looks like we could just move our mouths 'as if' we were chewing and stimulate more saliva production, but it doesn't seem to work well that way.

Adipex is just a brand name of the same drug- phentermine.

Nevertheless, keep drinking and/ or gum chewing. I have always kept a glass of water by my bedside and have to drink before sleep and when waking. Be sure and use a screw-top cup.
