I started my regimine this morning. I was afraid to take the whole 37.5 mg of Phentermine so I split it up in half I am also on Wellbutrin 300 mg. The issue is I feel strange. I feel like I'm on sudafed . I feel completely disconnected from my self. My head is clear but my mind is ... I don't know...something just not right.
I have been thirsty like others, but no extra energy that I was expecting. A little shakey in the hands but not aweful. I am following my Drs advice. Biggest meal in AM, moderate lunch and very small dinner tonight and I have been drinking 75 oz of water...as of now I'm at 50 so doing good there. Do you think I should take the whole pill. I am mainly a night time eater so I thought if I spaced it out it would sustain me longer. I don't know..I just feel strange!! HELP!!!

hey I will give you some advice here. First off the phen will make you feel like that at first it did me to but it goes away. If you are feeling strage after half dont take the whole thing at once. I think that it is a great idea 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the evening. Just dont take it later than 2pm you may not be able to sleep. If you have any sleep problems try melatonin 2 or 3 mg you get it at the pharm it is a natural herb and i take it when i cant sleep and it helps. Not everyone reacts the same to the meds. My doctor had me taking just 1/2 a pill for the first 2 days to let my body adjust to the phen. Instead of taking the other 1/2 (might be too late), just leave it for tomorrow and if you don't feel like your body is getting use the phen keep taking just 1/2 a pill per day until you are able to feel kind of normal. Some people take just 1/2 and still lose weight. But some of the reactions are just part of your body getting use to the medication. If you feel at any time that something is really wrong don't hesitate and call your doctor, he will have a better answer for you. Well I just wanted to up date this tread. I stopped taking the Wellbutrin and all my symptoms went away. I can sleep at night and as of today I have lost 7.5 pounds and my week isn't over yet. I am pretty darn happy about that!!

wow! That's great and you might find you don't even need the Wellbutrin in the future. But you might want to consider taking the Wellbutrin every other day so that you can wean yourself off. You could take the 1/2 tab of Phen on the alternate days - it has a long half life and will stay in your system. It might slow down your weight loss, some, but it will prevent any withdrawal problems from the Wellbutrin. good luck!
