leezette, i know it helped me sometimes to break the pill in half and take it in the morning and afternoon. if you are having issues sleeping you might want to have half a pill until you start getting more used to it. i never had the cant sleep problems.
now today i took a full pill after a break yesterday, and i feel great.(but then of course i heard from a guy that i like so i am happy). it just seems with phen, when you are down about something to begin with it kinda makes it worse. but i kow in the begainning i was super spacey and out of it. now i dont feel that way.

Patty, Nikki, Jenna and Consumerlady, there SO much to be said for standing together.
I've read that a 3-stranded cord is not easily broken.
WE ARE ALL TOGETHER, KIDS!

Hello all. I just joined phenforum. I was reading about how some are battling depression while on phentermine...
I'm really struggling with it. I've been taking it for a little over 5 months... I am very thrilled with my results (I've lost 40 lbs)! Today when I cried over something sooooo minor... I decided to start researching depression and phentermine... so here I am
I have never needed to take depression medication... I'm going to talk to my weightloss doctor tomorrow about options... I don't want to be "crazy", like I have been... but I don't want to stop before I reach my goal... but I don't want to take depression medication (if I might be emotionally better by not taking phentermine). Has anyone been here?
Any advice?
Thank you for anything you can offer!

There is an over the counter supplement called 5 HTP that you can purchase at walmart or any other store....it is supposed to boost mood...I have been taking it while on the phentermine and have pretty good luck with it...might be worth a try for you.

That IS a good idea!
Also, drinking ice water and your body breaking down proteins you may be eating use more calories than not ingesting....

Zig-zagging may help, too, as does adding a few drops of lemon or lime juice to your waters~

Yes, and I got to thinking that exercise is a great depression ender....if you are not exercising, you might try it...I use it a lot to help with my frustrations too.
