Hello all! I have been on Phentermine and my weightloss plan a little over a week. I have lost 8lbs. that I am so excited about!!! Last night, it was like I just flat hit a wall at full speed. My energy has been up for days, but all of a sudden it crashed last night. I was in bed before my Wife and 4yr old! Still feeling sluggish this morning. I got up and did 2 reps of 10 push-ups. My arms are feeling it for sure. I am such a whip. I will push on through and walk my usual routine during my lunch hour today. Hopefully that will make me feel better. Oh I got some great advise the other day on this forum. Drink WATER. I was told to shoot for 100 oz. I did that yesterday as well. Going to try and get at least that much in today again.

Water definately is a good thing while trying to lose weight...well, even when your not dieting for that matter!! lol!!

We have all "hit that wall" before, your body is going through some new "stuff" so it is going to do have some strange reactions at times, nothing too drastic, but things like that wall...it will pass and all you need is some patience and determination.

Keep exercising!! Believe it or not, exercise is the absolute best thing that I have found for giving me more energy! The days I exercise I am upbeat and ready to take on the world, but on the days that I don't, I am sluggish and tired and ready to go back to bed!! lol!!

So maybe including some morning exercises might really get you going for the day...it doesn't need to be drastic, but like your push ups or jumping jacks or something that will get you jump started for the day.

That is my best suggestion, anyway, because it is what works for me. Everyone is different, so don't get disappointed if someone else's solutions don't work for you....trial and error sometimes to find the perfect solutions for you.

Way to go!! I know that sometimes it is difficult to get yourself to do it, but if you can do it very consistantly for at least a week, you will find that it is not so much of a "challenge" for you to do it. Susan said in a post one time that if we make ourselves do something for like 20 times in a row, it becomes a "habit". Don't quote me exactly on that, but you get the idea, and I believe that it is true, because some of the things that I have started doing when I began this journey have now become habit that I think will stick with me even when I reach my goal.

Just make your self keep going. I just keep going and with in a few days my energy was back up more than ever. I am walking everyday for 60 minutes. In that time i get in just a hair over 3 miles in. I told myself that I going to start increasing the intensity starting today. I may increase the time or start jogging some or all of the hour. I stepped on the scale again this morning and total wt loss is 12.5 lbs. in just 15 days!

Way to go, Eric!!! That is soooo great!! You are doing a wonderful job!

Just a thought here (I have a nephew who is a personal trainer so he sends lots of little tidbits my way that I think are pretty helpful) if you are wanting to crank up the results from walking, try adding in short bursts of sprinting throughout the walk. This doesn't let your body get "used" to the exercise you are doing and "keeps it on its toes" for more caloric burn. He swears by this and I have heard several other exercise guru types say the same thing, I use that theory on my Gazelle and it seems to work, and it kind of feels good to do it, too!

Thanks for the tip! I will try that for sure. I just got back from a 1 hour and 15 min, 4 mile very brisk walk around one of my coworkers neighborhood. I feel great! I now understand the term "Natural High" Get it up everyone and God Bless!
