I have never been much to get wrapped up in alot of drama and I need to focus on my health and this site is very good for that. It is refreshing here

It makes me happy to hear you feel that way about my site, Cyn.

That is refreshing to me, as I have been working hard for months
without much return. Thank you!

Thanks to Deb too for getting this place out of zero posts.

I like this site because of my freedom to post what I think other people should know, regarding drug interactions, problems, or our own personal experiences.

cyn, my DH has gone through the same thing you have and it is awful and I hate to see him so distressed and upset. Funny thing is, he is not really morbidly obese, even his doc says he isn't. He is a very big man and would never be small, even if he went anorexic. They said he will probably never be less than about 250 or so. He is 6'2" and wears a size 13 triple E shoe, he can't fit his arm in one leg of my jeans. He is strong as an ox, but just because he is bigger, people get an attitude that he is fat, dumb and lazy.

To the people who treat others like that :P !

Sorry your husband has to suffer through things like this--people can be so ignorant and mean--you would think they would know better!

Yes, you would think that, but unfortunately, it seems that more and more, manners and education are unimportant.

I have a friend, she is the only one in her family to graduate highschool, her husband dropped out and so have both her sons. They think it is okay and they don't think learning is important. They work in grungy, icky, powdered metal plants and think it is good money and good income. Arby's or McDonald's for life are great jobs for their kids in their opinion.

It is a shame really, there is so much more out there and they just don't care.

Cyn,
My doctor told me I am Morbidly obese also. I knew I was overweight but I never thought I was MORBIDLY obese. It was hard to hear, but I am more determined to change it!

YOU CAN DO IT!
