I'm working towards that too. The best way I've found to stop the need
to give into my food-emotion problems is to do cardiovascular exercise.
Next on the list is to use the mind over matter technique to concentrate
on something else, as Cyn suggested; such as working, reading, or
checking in at PhenForum.
You can make it. I was there, and when I get depressed, it comes back
a little bit. But just keep focused on your goals, and it will become easier
and easier to let go of the emotional eating.
