I dont want my son to have a fat Mom

He is such a great kid and never says a word but I know he must feel some embarrassment at having a fat mom. Kids can be mean and I am sure some of the kids say things about me. So one of my goals is to make my son proud of having me for a Mom--who knows maybe I will be a MILF someday! th!!!

My husband and I agreed that we would not have any children until we get our weight under control. Neither of us wants to be a fat parent either. We want to be able to play with our children when they are young and be able to keep up with them.

That is a great goal! I know you can do it! But I am sure your son is already proud of you!

I think this is definately more my hang up than it is his. I hope he is proud of me--I certainly am proud of him.

I do understand what you mean, because I do not want my husband to have a fat wife. I always get nervoud meeting people for the first time, because I am afraid they will judge me based on my weight.

My kids were my biggest motivators:

I wanted to be able to play with them in the yard & teach them how to do a cartwheel
I wanted to give my girls a positive body image
I want to live long enough to see them grow & have families on their own
& I wanted to not be an embarassment too

My heart goes out to ya cyn!
