Buddy Needed in "menapause blues"

Hi I have noted in other forums that I have gained 70 lbs in the past year due to life style changes, depression (I am Bi-Polar) etc. and when I was younger If I gained a few lbs I had no problem taking it right off, Since menapause it seems the more I try the more I gain!!!! The reality is having gained the 1st 20 -30 lbs I got so depressed that I COULDN'T get it off that I gave up. But not even my "FAT" clothes fit anymore so boy WAKE UP CALL!! :eek: :eek:
Anyway I am looking for someone that is going through menapause and KNOWS the frustration of the hot flashes (which do not help in working out!) etc for mutual support and kicking butt when one of us wants to give up. I intend to do this I will be 49 July 11 and while that is an unrealistic date to get much off as I am on day 3 of Phentermine, I DO NOT want to turn 50 and be over weight Grossly overweight. So if you want a chance to YELL at someone :-D LOL and help keep me in line heres your chance. Thank you for all the support I have recieved thus far.

Hey there! I am 49 and will be 50 in October. I am so glad someone else out there understands menopause!!!! My appetite has increased ten times in the last 2-3 years and I have put on 37 pounds!! I am on day 3 of my diet and i want to lose around 40 pounds. I just hope I can do it!!

Hang in there! It's working for me and I have had to stop taking phen for ten days while on antibiotics. Will start them again on tues. Trying to eat light while off Phen.

Hello to both of you. I too am meopausal and struggling with my weight. I haven't started Phen yet. I ordered a supply from CC Basket and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I currently weight approx 300 lbs and I would like to be half that.

Isn't it like that with all of us? I know I feel the exact same way. I am doing a low carb diet and exercising at Curves and nothing is helping. I think I am gaining weight instead of losing. I have never taken diet pills before but I am desperate so here I am.

I would like to get in on this menopause weight loss buddy fest. Got room for one more?
