turtle, thank you so much. you're a real sweetheart. it's so easy to support people here because the journals just make it so easy. just a few clicks and you can check in on all your friends and give them support. this site is great, isn't it?

Gee the thread fills up fast, I had a job to find my post and your reply! Thank you for that, I will leave the subscription to the thread on then
I cannot recall where you are in America but I know we chat to a few in California and a bit inland and our morning when we are hard at it... is your evening... so there's someone here to talk to!
BTW I don't think it's bad to weigh yourself every day, hope I don't get into any trouble from the moderators!! But I have been weighing myself every day for so many years, I forget how long! Not in the evening though, I like first thing in the morning... simply because you weigh less
Catch you soon..
PS Does everyone call you Turtle?

Gillina- lol, No my name is Heather. Actually I think everyone here might call me turtle though. But whatever is fine by me. IF you go to quick links then subsribed threads you can find everything pretty fast I weigh in the morning and then weigh at night to see what my morning weight "might" look like lol

Well I might just keep calling you Turtle then if that's okay, as that is how I first 'met' you
Thank you for the tip on the quick links, that is soooo much quicker and better.
They say to weigh only once a week, but if everyone is honest I don't think anyone really does! My daughter is like you and weighs more than once a day... but she even weighs her legs sometimes to see if they've lost weight!!
Now that's getting obsessed! Mind you she is still only 15!

I don't think it is possible to stop it Turtle. At 15 they are influenced by the media and friends at school. People like Nicole Ritchie and Victoria Beckham are very influential to teenagers. This is the second time around taking a daughter through the 14-17 age period as I have two girls. I am glad I don't have to do it again! What with dieting, worry about drugs, identity and self esteem issues it can be a challenging time! Her weight is great and healthy at around 60kg but there is an obsession to be skinny these days, like model skinny. She is 5'8" and wants to be 55 or 56 kilos, that is a BMI of 19 ish and anything below 18 is underweight. Sorry about the kilos, I have to keep using a converter on the internet to get the pounds! In Australia we are all metric!

BTW I am up again at 3.45am, third morning on phen
I am now cutting out all tea and coffee and anything else that might help keep me awake! I must admit since starting phen I have been soooo thirsty I have been having like 15 mugs of tea a day so all the caffeine is probably not helping at all! LOL

How long have you been on it? Are you sleeping okay?

Gillian, this is why I would much rather our next child be a boy Ok well I also just want a son but ya lnow what I mean. I work at a childrens hospital and it scares me when I see our patients coming in pregnant and are just a child themselves. I know there are still similar issues with boys. I am just so protective of Julia and she is just so innocent. Can you stay with me for the next 16 yrs and give me tips and pointers as she get older
