I wish I had seen this thread in December. I have a weight watchers book. I hope someone told you that for 150-174 you can have 22 points a day. How did you do before your husband came home. By the way when you took the pill at 3:00 did it keep you awake at night?

Never did hear about the reunion. As a former military wife I can relate, it's exciting, fearfilled, etc all at the same time. Sometimes I felt like we were strangers and it was difficult to come back together. I'm so glad my dh is out.

My tip - don't keep tempting foods in the house! The kids don't need it either, I gave up that excuse.

If I want something, I have to want it bad enough to make it from scratch, which usually means to clean up the kitchen first and by the time I'm done with that, I'm too pooped to make what I thought I wanted.

Another tip - is to take your mind off of the temptation w exercise, a hobby, or other activity away from the food.

It may be a while before she comes back on.
I am a navy wife and my husband came home for 3 weeks this Christmas after being gone for 14 months and I didn't even check emails. lol But I do hope everything goes well for her, and hope she comes back soon.

Hello all Weight Watchers people! Here's how the Flex Points plan works. You don't need the books! Just do the simple math yourself!

PER SERVING:
50 calories = 1 point
5 or more grams of fat = 1 point
4 or more grams of fiber = subtract 1 point

EXAMPLE: Light Yogurt
100 calories
3 grams fat
1 gram fiber
= 2 WW points

If you do 45 minutes of moderate exercise, you can subtract 3 points.

As far as the points allowance, here is a basic breakdown:
Less than 150 pounds = 18-25 Points
150 to 174 pounds = 20-27 Points
175 to 199 pounds = 22-29 Points
200 to 224 pounds = 24-31 Points
225 to 250 pounds = 26-33 Points
Over 250 pounds = 28-35 Points

I weigh 240 pounds so I aim for 26 points per day, which is basically 1300 calories per day.
