Hi guys. I've read everyone's posts and I want a diet buddy too!

I have been on Phentermine 13 days and I feel like I'm doing good. I weigh tomorrow and my first weigh in, I lost 1.5 lbs and i was a bit sad about that because i wanted to be greedy and want more, however that is good. At least I didnt gain.

I log on several times a day during the week since I am bored at work and of course I love the motivation this site gives me.

Hi everyone!
I've been on Phentermine for 2 weeks and 2 days now. I weighed in today and lost 9 pounds so far. I think my step class last night paid off Any weight loss dobee is great! Keep up the good work! I've been on Phentermine once before and I went from weighing 175 to 140 in about a month. And gained it all back not watching my food in take and not a lot of exercise (yikes!) This time I will maintain once I loose the weight. I weighed 169 last week now I'm 162 5'5.

Thank you for your reply and your support! i always need to hear that i'm doing great! Holy cow! 175 to 140! Wow! That is great! Doesnt it peeve you that you gain it back and think on the past like i shouldve/couldve. Well, i will support you in any way possible!

dobee007- we have the exact same starting weight how crazy it that. LOL My final goal weight is 160 though any less than that would be way too hard for me to maintain. I lost 21 my first month. I busted butt though. My doctor said I can stay on phen only if I continue to lose. So that is my motivation. I walk flats and up hills and jog down hills. I do some weight lifting but not much. I need to work these flabby arms. They bug me the most. I'll be a weight loss buddy of yours. I get on the site several times a day as well. I am way slow at my job and bored out of my mind , plus as you said I can spend hours on here just reading and listening to others here. The girls are Great !! Feel free to PM me too if you want. My journal is at missys very first journal ever... have fun and have a great day. I'm leaving at 1pm to take the teenagers to the river to jet ski...

hey Ariel hey missy! good morning to you guys! i'm here at work and i'm kinda bummed. i weighed and only lost 1/2 a pound. ugggh! i have been working out and watching my weight and i'm kinda bummed. :( what i dont get is that my clothes are looser yet the scale doesnt smile on me. no wonder i hate the dang thing! your weight loss is great! i have never been this big. i had a baby last year and he is already 17 months old! only a few more pounds and i'd be exactly what i weighed the day i walked in the hospital to have him. how frieken depressing is that??? gimme some love. i need it today!

Now I have to ask you, you must not know too much about this whole "gottta get smaller ,lose weight thing". Cuz honey if your see inches disappear You don't complain. I'll tell you why. I'll use myself as an example so I don't insult anyone.
My arms are fat. gigglely, gooshy and big. If I am dieting and working out and I gain a pound doing so, that means I must have lost inches somewhere by gaining muscle. When you lift weights your body gets stronger and skinnier because you have burned fat and gained nice lean muscle. And muscle weighs more than fat. Looks a lot better but it weighs a little more. That's why some people hide the scale and figure their weight loss on how their clothes fit. Got it sister.
So if your clothes are getting loser and your weight is staying somewhat the same, your doing GOOD. My therory for myself is that I didn't start weight lifting at all until I lost 10 or so lbs. I did all cardio, got my heart rate up and burned fat without gaining muscle. Some will say that's good others will say gain muscle at the same time will make you stronger to keep going. It's really up to you. But Maybe that is why your not seeing a huge weight loss but improvement in your clothes.
