It is not the flavor of it so much as it is the texture. It makes me what to gag. Sorry, but I do not think it is an important enough food. I am unwilling to force myself to eat something that I literally cannot swallow. :???:

I just have to say I am with needtolose on this one--I cant eat cottage cheese. I am one of these picky eaters that once I dont like something I am not gonna eat it period! I know I shouldnt be this way and maybe it is all in my head --but I will get sick--it isnt worth it. I would rather have something I like than to try to get used to something I dont.

I totally agree, cyn! I just can't get past the fact that I do not like it so why would I eat it? I would rather use those calories for something that won't make me gag.

Im just telling you about cottage cheese and it's value to health and weight loss, if you decide it's best not to do what you need to do then that's totally up to you. the alternatives are in my previous post before this second page. persionaly I can't stand cold oat's, but I eat it anyway once it's down and Ive drunk some water the pain is gone. I won't let a little pain hold me back for the greater good.

I eat cereal for my midnight snack with as little milk as possible. I like it because it doesnt make me bloated in the middle of the night, and I dont feel guilty in the morning for eating it.
