I can't work out, I can't jog, I can't life weights, I can only do very minor, low-impact stuff. My doc says she doesn't want me to lose, but I feel chubby and want to tone up.

I have a spinal condition, any ideas or tips?

The only thing that popped into my mind was those breathing type exercises-like oxysize-but I know nothing about if they are effective or not. If I come across anything I will be sure to let you know.

I too have problems finding exercise that I can actually do--a birth defect in my legs and having only one eye screws up my sense of balance-so I know it can be hard finding something that a person with limits can actually benefit from. Most of the fitness industry proclaims "it is as easy as walking" for some of us that aint so easy!

Oh my, you made me burst out laughing in agreement. I was just sitting here laughing and nodding my head and Zeus looked at me like I was crazy.

I know what you mean, some days, I am lucky if I can walk to the bathroom and back.

I think we must have quite a bit in common--especially not taking thing for granted!

True, it does seem so.

Do you have any cats? I just don't think I could live without them. They are so special to me.

No one should ever take anything for granted, but unfortunately, I see it happen everyday!

I do not remember the name of the woman (If I come across it I will let you know). But there is a program available for people with disabilities and older people. The program consists of doing exercising while sitting.

Would something like that work for you?
