:( I read somewhere that 90% of people that go on any form of low carb diet put all the weight back on after stoping it. :( I am trying to do low fat and smaller portions, something I maybe able to continue for the rest of my life. The low carb wouldnt be good for people who workout too much. They would have zero energy stores to use and get through a workout? :???: I love bread/pasta and dairy products and fruit,I know the sugar content is high but as 2 snacks it wouldnt hurt? In australia we are not into the low carb thing[YET]Im sure there are people on it in oz.But not anyone I know. 8)

Yes that is true doing a low carb or no carb diet does seem to make your pounds come back when you quit the diet.. The good thing about SBD is that it does not eliminate carbs all together it teaches you what carbs to eat and what not to eat really it just teaches you a healthier life style.

I started doing SBD several months before I started taking Phen. I am no longer doing a true SBD, but I am still more aware of what I eat.

SBD is not something I felt I was able to strictly follow for the rest of my life, but it has truely changed the way I look at food. I eat some packaged foods now. I don't eat them every day or at every meal like I before SBD.

I eat some candy or sugars, but again it is much more limited than it used to be.

SBD made me truly aware of what I was putting in my mouth. I think the first 2 weeks of the diet where you cut off your sugar intake, has changed me tastebuds forever. Everything is so much sweeter than it used to be. I love the taste of veggies, where before I could not stand them.

I would recomend the SBD to everyone. If you are a sugar addict like I was...you will think you can't go 2 whole weeks without sugar. I admit it was hard at first, but now I feel it saved me from myself! If I ever get into a place where I feel that I can't control my own desire for sugar, I will definately cut it from my diet for 2 weeks again.

For me...sugar is a drug and those 2 weeks were my detox!

ok, by sugar are we talking about actual sugars or all the carbs? If we are looking at "sweet stuff", then maybe I should look into this. I do have a problem with sweet cravings, to the point of getting irritable if I don't have something sweet. Maybe 2 weeks without could help me to be able to choke down some veggies. At this point, all I can stand to eat is green beans, lettuce and bell peppers. Celery if it's stuffed with cream cheese or pimento cheese. That makes it real healthy, huh?
